Why are these studies being conducted?
All veterinary products that are available for purchase in Australia undergo a thorough registration process with the Australian Government. Studies like these are required to confirm that the product works well in an Australian household environment and is one of the final steps in the process of product registration.
Is there a cost ($$) for being in the study?
There is no cost to participate in these studies. The treatment we provide to your animals is completely free and we even give study participants gift vouchers as a thank you for their participation. These studies require volunteers to participate so that critical data can be gathered so new and effective products can be available to everyone.
Do I have to take my pet somewhere to get the treatment?
We have trained animal health staff that will come to your home to treat your pets for free. All visits conducted during the study are completed at the owner’s home (usually in the front yard or wherever is easiest for you).
Is the treatment safe for my pet?
All products used in the study are safe for use on your pets. These products undergo rigorous safety testing to ensure that they are safe for use. We do not anticipate any side effects to occur with the study products.
